International & Museum Lighting - Light Projects Group

  Joods Historisch Museum

Museum LightingRaylights supplied by the Light Projects Group have been used at the new Jewish Historical
Museum in Amsterdam.

Designed by Hans Wolff & Partners b.v. Lighting Designers, the museum is using the renowned
Raylight which is a very popular fitting in UK museums and art galleries including The British
Museum, The V&A Museum and The Royal Academy of Arts.

Raylights are designed and manufactured in the UK by the Light Projects Group in London and
are perfect for this type of demanding application. They are particularly designed for useums,
art galleries, retail and other display lighting applications where performance and visual appeal
are of paramountimportance. The Raylight can discreetly house a range accessories including
UV and IR filters, louvres, coloured or dichroic glass, frosted glass, various light-reducing scrims,
beam elongators and smoothers within the fitting itself – making them versatile but unobtrusive.

They are easy to focus and maintain and features pan and tilt movement operated via a simple
and effective one-handed locking mechanism for focusing and retention of the selected angle
- even when relamping. They also in include an optional  integral dimmer making then ideal for
museums,s galleries and retail installation.

The latest version of the RayLight, the RayLight CDMR has recently been launched to incorporate
the new Philips CDM-R 111 lamp. In addition, the new fitting can also take  MR16 and SDMR Par
30 lamps.
